GllRlL RESERVE CLUB President Helen Sweeney Nlee president Ruth Anderson Seeletary Gall Pa in FTEAQLIIQI Patllela Beanlan Faculty Atlvliffl V1 Dletl 'Ihe Marysville Girl Reserve Club IS a high school elub tor gllls Whllh was organized ln 19.26 and at present has thlxtv blX Il16mvb6lN The elub purpo e IS To Flhel and Give the Best It IS the dutx ef exely Glll Reserve to llY8 up to thl and the h gh ideals ol the organlzatlen In the past year the Glll Reselxe Club has been the only organ lzatlon ln the high sehool to whleh any j.,lll eould belong and has taken the place of the Girls Llub Ihe Club has been very aetlve durlng this year One of its mest successful soelal events was the Glll Reserve mlxer for all the glllg at the beglnnlrg of the school last fall At Chil tmas time a party was given for pre-scheol and primary girls. Fach Girl Reserve invited 'l girl from the grade school and dressed a doll for her. I the spring a Saint Patricks Day kid party was given for the Everett Girl Reserves. All the girls were dressed like little kids and this idea was carried out tllroughout the party. This was probably the biggest sccial event sponsored by the organization. An Easter assem- bly was presented far the Qtudent Body which was considered a success by all. The Girl Reserve Conf renee which was held February ll' 11 and 18 in Seattle was attended by Helen Qweeney Patricia Bearnan Vivian Posse and the adviser Miss Dietz. The gills have nla"e a xcrap book containfng ideas used at tlfe various parties given throughout the year to be left to Girl Reserve Clubs of the future. More interest has been taken this year in Girl Reserve work and feveral girls have worked to earn their pins. The uniform of the C irl Res,rves is 'l white middle a blue skirt md ei blue tie.
