SENIOR OFFICERS Doug Brnshler V P Mrs Wilson Adviser jim Harrison Sec Carol Crist Treas Mr Vir gm Adviser Bert ONeil Pres Class of 51 Sometime between 1931 and 1934 the pres nt Senior Class came into being and through the years the mem bers have gradually gathered together into the Class o 51 Four short years ago green Freshles crept into the halls of MHS to see what it was all about The Seniors greeted us with a dance leading our class were Gene Butch Spencer with Miss Iybeck and Mr Ander as advisers A picnic at Davies cllmaxed our first year As Sophomores we were used to the ways of the school, and gained prommence in school activities Our officers were Bob Clark Veda Bosworth nm Harrison Merrill Clapp Miss Lybeck and Mr Hallstrom were our ad visers We started our umor year with vim and vigor, sponsoring a Flying Saucers soc hop during football season In the spring we ventured into a ungle Fan tasy for our umor Prom and honored the Seniors Page at the umor Senior Banquet Heading our class in our first year as upperclassmen were Marie acobson, Nancy Kamkeberg, Lois Baxter Kathleen Hudson Advising us were Miss Lybeck Mrs Olsonj and Mr Gibson Mother Is A Freshman was the traditional umor Play We selected blue and gray as our class colors We began our Senior year at dear old MHS with mg lessons before hand The Patsy was successfully staged under the direction of Mr Turner We chose the gardenia as our class flower and We are not Clreamers but builders as our class motto We were proud of the large number of our members in Torch Club sports and other activities The Commencement Exercises were the last link that bound us to our high school life, which has ended all too soon but we shall always treasurer the memories of our good times to gether 16 . 9 f S6 77 ' 6' .
