This fall, for the first time, the Alpha Phi Sigma Award was presented at the Chancellor ' s Convocation to the incoming Junior with the highest academic average for her first two years at Mary Washington. The 1960 recipient was !Miss Sandra Gowl. The organization, under the sponsorship of Dr. James H.
