Ruth, how- ever, abides by the proverb too much study is a weariness of the flesh and sometimes spends the sociology period napping in Virginia Hall. She is quiet mannered, everlast- ingly studious, and possessed of a desire to hecome a teacher. Sensibleness is foreign to many girls, but with her it is an innate virtue.
