JUNIOR RING CEREMONY Friday-February 10, 1984 The Junior Ring Ceremony was held on February 10, 1984, bringing the Inspirations of 1985 together in unity. Wearing the colors of light blue and gray, the Juniors proceeded down the aisle to the sound of their class song, the theme from Mahogany. The theme of the ceremony, Juniors — we ' re on our way together was in the mind of each and every Junior as Monsignor Kiefer blessed their rings. Following the ceremony a banquet was given by the Sophomores in honor of the Junior Class. Thanks to the hard work of the class moderator, Mr. O ' Keefe, and the Junior Class of- ficers, Jackie Duhovic, Terri Buono, and Cathy E Ceremony was a day to remember. .y j i SX fk- 72 Activities Section

Class of 1985 This ring that circles our finger unites our class. encircles our memories. We are inspired by the old friends who have left as well as the friends who remain. Freshman year was our initiation; Sophomore year was our confrontation; Junior year is our domination, Senior year is our expectation! This was our comeback year from Bishop Montgomery to Lompoc we traveled far to victory chanting, Who dat say Gonna beat them Stars Who dat? Who dat? Nature Boy ran the field darting seagulls, lemons and apples. We ate more than our share of Mrs. C ' s snacks — chocolate chip, lemon and oatmeal cookies coming out of our ears. Skiing at Snow Summit, cool nights at Palms, going to concerts, taking our drivers test and trying to understand Algebra. Girls who finally got the guts to ask guvs to the Winter Formal. Guys who found that close friends could include girls. Our own famous personalities: Bov Dragan, Gumbv, Rack-Dog, Dunkin ' Dev, people we ' ll never leave behind. Memories of times that will never pass. And that ' s the way it is for the Junior Class! Activities Section 73
