To the Class of 1984 When you read this, it will be very near graduation. You will be facing the end of your time here and the beginning of a new phase of your life. Like you, I have mixed feelings about this transition. Many of you have become friends with me. All of you have grown tremendously in four years — physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It has given me pride and joy to watch you during these four years. You have grown with the school. You have helped the school grow. Saying ' Good bye! ' will not be easy for me. I have grown very attached to all of you, very proud of your accomplishments, very privileged to be part of your lives . . . You will always be part of mine. May the happiness of your senior year stay with you. I think the faculty remembers you most as a happy class, bonded together by your love for each other and your love for your school. The outlook you have developed here is a very good one for life. Don ' t lose it! But always be as generous in sharing it as you have been these last four years. Finally, remember us. As your lives grow and deepen, remember that you can call on us if you need help. We will do everything we can to help you. Remember, too, that we care about your successes and triumphs.
