NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The National Honor Society is an organization which seeks the well-rounded student. Selection for the National Honor Society is based not only on grade point average, but also on the student ' s service to the school and community, as well as his or her participation in extracurricular activities. As a club, N.H.S. provides service to the school and helps prepare for the Academic Awards Banquet which annually recognizes outstanding students. The California Scholarship Federation is an organization which fosters high standards of scholarship, service and citizenship. Acceptance into the club is based on grade point average. To qualify for membership, students must maintain a ten-point average on its point system. The C.S.F. motto is Scholarship for Service. SKI CLUB Moderator: Mr. Jack Nicholls, Pres.: John Vilicich. (not pictured) Lori Allen; Vice-Pres. This year, the Ski Club again proved to be one of the most popular clubs on campus. It consists of a variety of students: those who are advanced, intermediate, or beginning skiers, and even those who have never skied before. During the year, the ski club officers and it moderator Mr. Nicholls, worked hard organizing the ski trips to Snow Summit held on December 8, 1983 and to Mammoth on February 17-20, 1984.
