FLAG TEAM The 1983-1984 Flag Team will for certain go down in Flag Team History at Mary Star because of its great size. Eleven girls on a squad spells work and work is what they did. The Flag Team spent much time during the summer and after school rehearsing their routines. Under the leadership of their captains Tracy Walther and Amy Hershman, the girls executed many spectacular performances including half-times and pep rallies. JUNIOR VARSITY CHEERLEADING Captain Danielle DiBernardo Co-Captain Kathy Clinton The 1983-1984 Junior Varsity Cheerleaders consisted of eight girls. In conjunction with the other pep squads, the J.V. Cheerleaders helped to create enthusiastic pep rallies. Their ac- tivities consisted of attending a U.S.A. Cheer Camp, entering competition, and showing their spirit by cheering on their freshmen and J.V. teams. Giving their support to the athletes, they kept the crowds going and entertained.
