Under the guidance ot Ues Walker, Mary Star has become an outstanding and first class baseball program that should make the school, students, fans and community very proud. The future of the program looks extremely bright. As Freshmen coach, I am blessed with not only a talented group of athletes, but a very intelligent group of students. This is evident by the fact that the average grade point average for the 17 players is a 3.2. As coach, I look forward to a successful season; a season filled with excite- ment and good times. I thank my coaching staff for their hard work. I also thank the best team manager a coach could have — Geordy Hershman. A special thanks to Coach Walker at Mary Star, and last, but not least, I thank the 17 great guys for their sup- port, hustle, and attitudes. I anxiously look forward to the ' future — and the future is . . .
