Varsity Regains Championship Form A prosperous preseason and some experienced veterans have the hopes of the Varsity baseball team sky high. A group of experienced seniors led by co-captains John Hussey and Robert Nunez, coupled with the mound skills of Mark Skorlich suggest a strong possibility of a league championship. A well-rounded infield of Joe Cortez, Bob Gonzalez, Jewgy Ponce de Leon, and Hussey will please the defense minded coach Des Walker. The aggressive outfield of Sam Galletti, Richard Castro and Vince Martinez won ' t allow many runners to advance on the basepaths.
