NOWING your reaction to sentimentality, we have taken a decided risk in X if dedicating our yearbook to you. Keeping that fact in mind, we shall try to make the dedication short, and somehow convey to you the extremely sentimental feelings we have for you. Uur theme suggests joy and levity, but, at the same time, it hints at the years of hard work which have gone into the production Of continuity of thought and expression. We feel, Mr. Chamberlin, that such an interpretation of our theme, Sing Along With Maryf, is synonymous with you and your teaching. In your classes we learn about the world and the interrelations of the nations of which it is comprised. Your use of various anecdotes and humorous remarks adds sparkle and helps us remember the events of history most vividly. By your dedication to your subject, and the years of study which you have put into it, you have imparted to us a feeling of respect for our own country and an awareness of the foreign problems in which America has been involved.
