Future Farmers of America The Future Farmers of America is an organization of farm boys who are taking Vocational Agriculture in high schools throughout the United States, In this organization activities such as co-operation, community service, leader- ship, thrift, scholarship and recreation are conducted and encouraged. During the year the F,F.A. co-opera- ted with the Young Farmers Associa- tion and learned many points in buying and selling. For the first time the organization held a father and son banquet, started a chapter bank account, and organized a softball and a baseball team. Birds, trees, ond flowers---the greol: outdoors 0utdoorClub The Outdoor club was organized in 1937 by Miss Rauch, the club sponsor. The purpose of the club is to increase the appreciation and love of nature in its members. The members are chosen according to their scholastic record in biology and other subjects. The projects this year consisted of the planting of tulips, iris, narcissis, and hollyhocks about the school campus. As recreation the club sponsors skating and bowling parties, picnics and other recreations which will help to improve mental and physical development as well as increase the appreciation of nature in its members.
