Student Council The object of this organization is to foster school spirit. to create a close relationship between the student body and the administra- tive personnel, to stimulate scholf astic efficiency, and to represent the students in all student activities and student relationships. The council consists of tive se- niors, four juniors, three sopho- mores and three freshmen. The principal of the high school is an advisory member of the council. This group makes athletic and cheerleader awards, and sponsors a Student Day, at which time the entire administration of the coun- cil of the school is carried on by students. This year the council held the third annual Student Day.

Tri-I-li-Y Club This club was originally the Girl Reserve which succeeded in establishing the Tri-Hi-Y this year. The club continued its services to the school by operating the second hand bookstore at the beginning of school. The girls rendered several services to the community by preparing Christmas baskets for the poor and by giving their services to the local hospitals. Christmas cards were sold to help defray the expenses. The club performed a special service to the school by conducting a non-cheating campaign. The club members made programs for the home football games. In the spring a Go-to-Church campaign benefited both the school and the community by awakening the desire in young people to attend Church. A style show was presented in April, with members of the clubas the models. 171... T

They ploy ond sing Junior Music Club To create the love of good music among high school students is the aim of the Junior Music Club, under the sponsorship of Mrs. Roger Clapham. The club has thirty members. They meet monthly at which time musical programs are presented by the members. In May. the club presents a re- cital to which the public is in vited.
