Student Council The student council, as the one true representative organization of the student body, is composed .of live Seniors, four Juniors, three Sophomores and three Freshmen. ln addition, for the last several years a representative from each group has been allowed to attend the meetings although the representative is not given a vote. Unobtrusively this' organization goes about buying athletic equipment and attending to other worthy needs of the school. All in all it may well be said that the student council is one of the backbones of M. H. S. Q L l 2 Who's Who? The Journalism Class sponsored a popularity contest this year which turned out to be a great success. The nominees were voted upon by all four classes although only Seniors were eligible for honors. WHO'S WHO??? It has not only sponsored the annual Athletic Night, but has had two dances. The first was during the Christmas Holidays. The big Varsity Drag , April Zlst, was one of the most successful social functions of the year, Fulk's Orchestra played and although this dance did not come up to the high standard of the Junior and Senior Prom, there were forty-five couples and a good time was had by all. About fifteen new members were taken into the Club this year, making a total membership of thirty-one. nga an dn

Clapham, the Girls' Glee Club has been, during the past year, one of the most active organizations of the school.
