QUHHMEBL GURGANU9 Stachie Gurganus attended the Univer- sity of Alabama where she received her B.S. degree. She is married to Noah C. Gurganus. They have two daughters, Peggie and Beckie, and three grandchildren, Steven, Randy, and Ricky. Mrs. Gurganus teaches the third grade. RAUL4 SCOTT Paula Scott is the wife of lack Scott. They have two daughters, Terri and Traci. Mrs. Scott received her A.S. from Walker College and her B.S. and M.A. from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. HUMEIL CIWEIAND Mrs. Irene Copeland is the fifth gr homeroom teacher. She also teaches 5 6th, 7th and 8th grade math. I received her B.S. from Jacksonville U versity and her M.A. from the Univen of Alabama. Mrs. Copeland is marriec Charles N. Copeland. The Copela have four children, Henry, Dav Harry, and Anng and they have c grandchild , Samantha Ann .

LII McBride also has extra hours at ch College in Oahu, Hawaiig S.U. in Arizona: and at UAB. She is : first grade teacher. FACULTY Mrs. Latham is married to another Martin teacher, Danny Latham. They have one daughter, Amy Danielle. Mrs. Latham received her A.S. from Walker College and her B.S. from UAB . She teaches a mixed class of first and second graders. LOUISE P. PUR VIS The second grade teacher at Martin is Louise Purvis. She received her A.S. from Walker College, and her B.S. and M.A. from the University of Ala- bama. Mrs. Purvis is married to Robert G. Purvis. They have two daughters, Ellen and Montez, and four grandchil- dren, Gigi, Joey, Bridget, and DeShan.
