PROPHET Ellen Purvis POET Mike Brasfield FRIENDLIEST Jane Glover - Richard Alexander A NEW DAY The sun rose to reveal a new yearg And we knew that we would not return To the school that we had come to love so dear, But enter a new life which we soon will learn. Now the life before us is not very clear, Clouded by the storms of confusion, Not like the simple life of yesteryear, Which in memory is a pleasant illusion. Many years ago we left home with tears in our eyes And entered school with frightened heartsg Now it is with tears that we must say good-bye, Knowing that we must part. The task before us is greatg Our future lies in the palm of fate.
