Ssemblies Assemblies are times when the entire student body gathers together to talk laugh, cheer, and be entertained. The assemblies of 4980 were exciting and full of surprises. Numerous pep assemblies and various National assemblies were presented to students. Pep assemblies were a time to introduce the loyal Pirate athletic teams and get students psyched up for games. Many pep assemblies also included humorous skits put on by the rally and competition between members of the student body. National assemblies enabled students to experience such things as psychics, trampoline artists, Norwegian dancers, and Scottish musicians.
