Foreign Languages Foreign Language Department Enrienes Program of Studies The foreign language department informs students about the customs, history, and people of a country, as well as teaching them to read and speak a foreign language. This department offers a variety of courses. First-year Russian and third-year Latin classes were initiated this year. Spanish and French students, together with those studying Russian, profit from using the language lab. Visitors, movies, songs, and magazines from other countries add variety to the classes and help students improve their skills, thus maintaining the aims of the foreign language department-to fulfill college requirements and to provide a cultural background. i f P.
