Now two years of P. E. are required for every boy and girl attending school. A third or fourth year is optional. One semester of health must be taken during the freshman or sophomore year, and a second semester of health is re- quired forthe iunior or senior year. The program for boys and girls is simi- lar. During the freshman and sophomore years individuals participate in group activi- ties and body conditioning. As juniors they go into individual activities. Fine Arts A. Engen accompanies K. Alvey, J. Briggs, and J. Baker in tryouts for spring operella. Fine Arts Meet Needs for Expression A composite of many small departments, fine arts satisfies the students' need for self- expression by giving them the opportunity to display their talents in art and music. Marshfield High School now possesses one of the finest libraries in the state.
