0LU UZq yedfi Lookung unto the pucture of 25 years from now we see Rollue Greuf cruusung around un hus luttle red puck up He us lookung for the Senuors of 47 to clean up after the lang past Senuor Ball of that same year Bound and gagged un the back of the truck are Joe Blondell George Gulbertson and Roy Lakey who were found stull strugglmg to get un the Smoke House Passung by The Hub a loud masculune vouce blended wuth the whune of a suren demands Where do you thunk you re goun bud? Duncan Grant lcuty copl patuently explauned that there us a stop lught on the corners of Broadway and Central Rollue alubued that hus attentuon was dustracted by the banner advertusung June Mad whuch Luana Bedunger had fouled to return to the Coos Bay Saddle Club where Jessue Bennett us employed to clean the stables As the hunt goes on a bug crowd us seen un front of the Whute Elephant because Maxune Murphy has stopped over un Coos Bay on a concert tour She us the only Irush puanust who leaas yells between acts Here Gordon Howara us seen back un unuform agoun He us workung as the hotel doorman Goung back ua Broadway as he passes the Egyptuan Rollue sees Donna Chrustophersons name un lughts She us beung featured for one of her great ballet dances accompanued by Alva Lee and Hus Molely Three Lena Megale playung the tuba Don Abrahamson on the puccolo and Hershelea Long on the bass vuolun Feelung a luttle thursty Rollue stops at Logger Bull O Neal s wher Dustue Schall us servung tall cool ones to Molly Oylear and Januce McCullough who are now loggung at South Slough Steppung out of Logger Bull s he hear band and curcus barker whuch was later found to be the vouce of Horace Byler callung un everyone to see the world s fottest lady RaeMona Rutter Roamung through the curcus grounds Rollue us suddenly stopped dead and yells BWANG as he sees the tantaluz ung dancers straught from Egypt Pl They are Pat Susson Phyllus Schlappu Arlene Bowers and Aluce Smuth' Sunce ut took 25c to get un Rollue moved on to the weught luftung department where Dolly Suegrust passes out the pruzes Rollue couldnt belueve ut but ut was true-on the Merry Go Round was John Publucover who was takung hus l5th consecutuve rude whule Duck Mobley occupued three of the luttle kuds kuddue cars Then as the tume arruved for the maun show The e the trapeze gurls are already performung Audrey Thomas us showung the crowd some of the flups she unvented whule Dorothy Lapp and Anna Mae Peterson are doung a tught rope dance Margaret Guumon does a truple leap When the show was funally over Rollue decuded to leave tne curcus that was owned by Everal St Peter He got un hus luttle puck up and decuded to take a uaunt back up to old M H S to start Rollue made hus way to the bug tent As he starts the engune an ambulance whunes by un whuch he later found out contauned Ed Taylor who had trupped over hus mustache and broken hus luttle toe When he got up un the school halls he soon heard Thunk now thunk now' and peekung through the door he sees Albert Powers the new professor of scuence And what do you know rught across the hall Rollue found an old fruend teachung Englush none other than John Jaehnug Then he remembered and an up the staurs to say hello to Jerry Peters who was stll tryung to get through Mr McLeans Problems of Democracy course As Rollue leaves the school he sees Keuth Maune who us now doung the uanutar work He gets out to the puck up and turns on hus raduo whuch us the latest development pro duced by the Don Squure and Jack Walton Ca Inc T e roduo blares on and wuth the aud of Televusuon Rollue sees Tunk Rhodes who us puttung un plugs for Yoders Yodlung Canarys untroducung Lu Rae Ball who us now takung Heada Hoppers place Lu tells of Colleen Gents ruse to fame the productuon of the Case of the Stolen Sputtoon starrung Jum Joubert Loren Steward and Sally McDonald After thus Lu guves a few more tups on Irus Fox Joyce Elluott and Bob Lanway on theur Hollywood lufe Tunk comes back wuth a sungung commercual by Bev Plummer and June Leelung for Hashbergers Hamburgers Next on the aur Rollue hears News and Vuews by Jack W Gunnell Rollue says Oh that guy so he turns off the raduo and whule he does he notuces hus gas gauge says empty so he pulls un to the nearest servuce statuon whuch us Austun s Auto Servuce where Wendell Austun suts at hus desk sn the offuce as manager whule Glenn Babb Roy Ramberg Douglas MacCoach and Bull Beebe handle the servucung to the tune of S6 47 As Rollue pulls out the money he notuces that Ted Fal coner s pucture graces the fuve dollar bull as he us now presudent of the Unuted States At the servuce statuon Rollue got the word that most of the Senuors of 47 are puttung un theur hours at Wade s Products so he hurrues off auded by the super gas he has uust obtaunea whuch has been made by Duck Moen As he gets to Wade s Products lused to be Evans Productsl he sees Harry Goldsbury who has the uob of gateman Pullung nune by twelves us Judy Gulbert and as a wheel breaks down on the carruer Judy trots over and lufts the rear end of the carruer whule ut us repaured Walkang along the chaun Rollue sees other gurls from the Senuor Class of 47 dusplayung theur muscular abuluty heavung twelve by twelves about luke tooth pucks They are Joan Hunt Barbara Dullon Dorothy Clark and Fonda Sanders Wuth the passung years entertaunment has been brought forth for the workers durung theur lunch hour To buuld up the morale of male workers us Elaune Nystrom who sungs torch songs and Bob Downer who us accompanyung Elaune plays hus Moronate whuch us an unstrument he unvented hurr-self After the entertaunment whuch Rollue has enuoyed thoroughly he ees Carolyn Stadden Barbara Scott and Dorothy Lapp goung to work on the boom Just as Rollue gets ready to leave he hears a funny rattle and he sees over un a dark corner Bud Holden Eddue Edgerton and Roy Lakey who are shootung craps As Rollue gets un hus puck up and goes on hus way he soon sees a lurue of cars wautung to get across a brudge whuch us under constructuon and nearly completed As he tops he notuces one of the cars us a model developed and unvented by Bob Cook whuch runs on one wheel Rollue notuces the enguneer un charge of buuldung the brudge us Jerry Nelson and also foreman on the lab us Bob Hammond stull wearung hus Marshfueld lettermans sweater After the traffuc gets goung Rollue rolls on out to the ountry He soon sees Jean McCrea who us workung dulugently on her farm Jeans Jersey Jount As he druves along Pony Slough he sees a group of 47 Senuor gurls takung a swum un the latest bathung suuts styled by Darlus Merrutt The gurls swummung are Dorothy Harvey Margaret Leughton Dorothy Brught and Joan Iverson Rollue decudes to go back to town and on a bullboard on the way back he sees Loren Larsen s comedues advertused They are beung shown nughtly at th Egyptuan On South Broadway he notuced a used car rot beung managed by Phyllus Davus and rught down the street a dress shop operated by Elaune Fogde lt us called l-ogdes Fruvolous Frocks Rollue decudes to go by the post offuce where Dorotha Mulls us the postmustress Rollue pucks up hus maul and sees a letter from oversea It us from Chuna and from Roberta Traxler who us a mussuonary After thus Rollue decudes to buy a penny post card does so and then sends a message of great umpor-tance to Mr Hunsaker hopung he can read ut under hus grayung beard The message Saud Even though the Senuor Class has never fauled on anv other mussuon ut seems umpossuble for me to gather up enough Senuors who are not preaccupued to clean up after the Senuor Ball So the Senuor Class leaves thus luttle work as a token f apprecuatuon to all the underclassmen Wuth all accomplushed Rollue ygwng ond realuzes he 5 all worn out and that uts gettung late and the cows need 'nulkung so he hurrues back out to hus
