l938 MAHISCAN 1938 wzior Gfass gfisfory Energetic and hardworking all year, the Junior class of l937-l938, with Bob Chiene as president, Ivan Ireland as vice-president, Marguer- ite Stummers as secretary, Kelly Halbert as treasurer, and Robert Dunham as sergeant-at-arms, under the advice of Mr. Queen, has met many difficulties, surmounted them, and has produced marked results in the form of various achievements Cham D,,,,,,,,,, throughout the year. g',f,1f',,,'2, I The Juniors were well represented in every school activity open to them and were especially outstanding. There were approximately one hundred mern- bers who were equally interested in school activities, but were, when called upon to perform, in perfect cooperation with other members of the class. The boys went out for track, boxing, football, basketball, glee club, and different boy's organizations in the school. The girls were active in Hysoerie, Glee Club, Triple Trio, and Girls' League and similar recreations. The Junior play, Come Out of the Kitchen, was presented under the direction of Miss Swafford during the fall and was an outstanding success. l7
