Huntington and Marshall - Sometimes a good combination sometimes a bad one. Good when they work together, bad when one tries to exercise control over the other. Huntington, the town, the people, the parks, it may not be the most important city in the state, but certainly the cleanest and the friendliest. Marshall — the faculty, the students, the campus, maybe not the best university in the state, but the potential for growth is there. Huntington and Marshall - the inseparable pair. Saturday, 5 April 1975 And the world goes on. Friday nights at Marshall University are unexplainable in print. If my reader is a student, you know how it is. My academic experiences seem to be a long string of deja vu realizations that line up like dominos ... Three years or so back and a year or so forward. A stream of professors, talking about different subjects, but all sounding the same. YAKA YAKA YAKA. Maybe it's all just a political conspiracy to keep me off the job market for four years. Of course, there's the educational experience I am supposed to be going through. Maybe it’s just one of those things that you can't recognize until it's all over I'll just have to wait and see if all this education has really done so much good. Who knows what lurks in darkness?
