ls., SCIENCE Future chemists, biologists and physicists gathered daily in the labs and class- rooms of the science department eagerly seeking new roads of scientific travel. Problems which baffled the alchemists were mastered in chemistry classesg Einstein's equation of relativity helped in physics classesg and actual, preserved specimens gave biology students a clearer understanding of this science. Continuous BUSINESS In the field of business training, many students took the opportunity to learn shorthand, typing, bookkeeping, office practice, and business law. A co-operative plan gave seniors the chance to apply their knowledge through training on the job, and commercial students also served as secretaries and messengers for faculty mem- bers to gain further secretarial experience. 14
