If I If Heh! Mrs. Helen Rausch, Miss Helen Rowe, Miss Ann Turula, Mrs. Mary Heherling. More ls Thy Due Than More Than All Can Pay l,irrpy Louicsu and Uhluscle Hound hlarysl' were certainly plentiful this year as the result of the continuation of the rigorous physical education program initiated during the war. Not even Su- perman could hold up under the apparatus work and navy testg but just in case he survived them he was bound to meet disaster when he hit the commando course. However it really wasn't so tough as that. and hy the time lX'Iay came around Limpy Louie and Hhluscle Bound hlaryl' had changed their names to Lumpy Louie and Hluuscles lwaryn. The maintenance crew under the direction of hir. Larry Tennity and the lunchroom staff under the supervision of llrs. Thompson really had a busy job keeping the school in good condition and feedf ing the famincd lvlarshallites. Unlocking doors for forgetful students, cleaning the lunchroom, and the halls, stoking the hoilers, and performing other routine tasks were only a part of their service. The crew also found time to help the students put up posters and decorations for social events. Pref paring deliciously hot food and desserts, the artists at the gas ranges established for themselves a rc- putation for providing food fit for a king. Our welfare was further looked after by lllrs. Rausch, the school nurse who filled out medical questionnaires for work permits and cared for the many who came to her suffering from a variety of ail- ments. Through her care lllarshall was the healthiest school in the city, and through her sympathetic kindness our nurse has become a friend to all. Lwfl lo right: Mr. Tennity, Mr. Sutter, Mrs. Chase. l-l
