DON R. CHADDERDON I The amiable and industrious Director of Instrumental Music at M.H.S. gradu- ated from the University of Miami with a B.M. degree and from Michigan State College with a Master of Music degree. Mr. Chadderdon's industrious efforts are a proven success when we listen to our high school bands and orchestra. MEI. AUSSIEKER Mel received his B.S. at St. Louis Uni- versity and his MJ-X. at the University of Michigan. He teaches boys' Physical Education and Basic Living, besides being our popular football and track coach. GENE BOOKER Iolly Mr. Booker, who you can often find reading the laws of the universe, received his B.S. from Ball State Teach- ers College. Mr. Booker does a fine job of assistant reserve football and track coach, and teaches Driver Training and Gym. ELLEN BROGREN Music-loving Mrs. Brogren is the indus- trious choir instructor at M.H.S. besides being a string instructor. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Music degree. FRED T. CHANEY Mr. Chaney with the wavy hair re- ceived his B.S. at Northern Michigan College of Education and his M.A. at the University of Michigan. His classes are Typing I and Bookkeeping II and III. MAYNARD CLARK Mr. Clark, our able reserve basketball and assistant varsity football coach. went to Adrian College where he ob- tained his B.S. degree. New here as a teacher, but cn former student of M.H.S., Mr. Clark teaches Math and is co-spon- sor of they Freshman class.
IOSEPH R. COOPER After obtaining his B.S. at Westem and his M.A. at the University of Michigan, Mr. Cooper came to Marshall to teach Science and Math to the lunior High students. He also coaches the reserve football, varsity basketball and base- ball teams. Along with these activities, Mr. Cooper helps in the guidance of the students. LOUISE M. DIEI-IL Miss Diehl, a long time English instruc- tor at Marshall High, received her A.B. from Michigan State Normal College, B.S. at Western Michigan. and her M.A. at the University of Michigan. Being a fine sponsor of the Ir. Historical Society, understanding Miss Diehl encourages HENRY W. CUNNINGHAM poetry study among her students. KENNETH DRAKE WILLIAM M. CRUMRINE Mr. Crumrine is our ever-popular Chem- istry and Physics instructor. He has his A.B. from Ashland College and his M.A. from the University of Michigan. He is and teaches a class in aeronautics. chairman of the Guidance Committee, Mr. Cunningham, the all-time favorite of M.H.S.. is instructor of American History, Debate, and Speech. He re- ceived his A.B. at Greenville College Mr. Drake, our English and Journalism teacher, went to Muskegon Iunior Col- lege for the first part of his higher edu- cation. He got his A.B. at Westem lVIich- igan College. He is sponsor of the Bi- weekly and Annual 'als D1. and his M.A. at the University of Mich- igan. The now then, people man is co-sponsor of the Senior Class. ARTHUR D. DE SANTIS Mr. DeSantis, the seniors' friend, RUBY DRAUGHON As eighth grade English instructor and Social Studies teacher, we find able Mrs. Draughon. Mrs. Draughon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan College. She is very popular among the Iunior High students. is another newcomer to our faculty. He recevied his B.A. from Northern Mich- igan College of Education and his Mas- ters from Michigan State. He teaches Government and Economics and is co- sponsor of the Iunior class.
