Mars Hill Bible School Florence, Alabama May 1959 Dear Fellow-Workers and Friends, As our school year of 1958-59 c omes to a close it is with mixed emotions I write this. I am happy I have successfu lly completed twelve years of study and am entitled to a diploma, but it is with sadness I leave Mars Hill. Mars Hill means so much to me because I've spent twelve years here. Along with five others of our class, Jan Snell, , y eVore, Elain Garrett, and N ancy McClure I began in the first grade. I know it must mean more to us than to others for we've n Billy Weaver Mar D ever known anything else. As far as I know I was the first to enroll at Mars Hill. Brother Lee, our first president, came to Florence months before its opening to talk to mother, a widow, about work to enable my sister and me to o g to school and he enrolled me at that time. I hope you like our 1958-'59 yearbook. I've devoted many, many hours of hard work to it, but enjoyed it tremendously. I've tried to arrange it to please lovers of Mars Hill Bible School, 1 want to thank all who have helped me try to give you an outstanding,book - co-workers, printers, and photographer, To all of you students, teachers, and staff, I wish the very best of every- thing and thanks for making these past twelve years so enjoyable.
