Chaplain Iieutenant Bradford E. Ableson, Chaplain Corps, was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was graduated from Yale University with the Master of Divinity degree and completed his clinical internship at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. Chaplain Ableson was commissioned an Ensign in the Navy Theological Student Program and graduated from the Naval Chaplains School in Newport, Rhode Island, Following ordination in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church he received a superseding commission in the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps. Chaplain Ableson has served the Recruit Training Command, San Diego; REDCOM ELEVEN, NAS, Dallas; USS LEXINGTON (AVT-16); and Fleet Hospital, San Diego (DET 500 Combat Zone 21). In April, 1987 Chap- lain Ableson was ordered to Naval Weapons Stations, Concord, California where he served the Marine Bar- racks, and assigned Navy personnel. He reported to USS MARS (AFS 1) as Command Chaplain in February 1988. Chaplain Ableson ' s decorations include two awards of the Navy Achievement Medal and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. He is married to the former Julio Tevis Narz of Louis- ville, Kentucky. They reside in Concord, California. LT B.E. Ableson

Supply Officer ommander Thomas A. Rorex was born in Billings. Mon- tana He graduated from the University of Washing- ton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Admin- istration. Commander Rorex received a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Pennsylvania ' s Wharton School of Business. Following graduation from Officer Candidates School at Newport, Rhode Island, and the Navy Supply Corps School in Athens, Georgia, he reported to Chief Naval Advisory Group, Vietnam, where he served as a Naval Advisor Com- mander Rorex then reported to the USS CASIMIR PULASKI (SSBN 633 Gold Crew) where he served as Supply Officer and earned his gold dolphins as a Submariner His following tours were with Naval Supply Center, Norfolk. USS FORESTALL (CV-59) OS Stores Stock Control Officer, Naval Air Systems Command as Business Manager for the F A-18 project, and Commander, Fleet Air Western Pacific as Aviation Supply Officer Commander Rorex then served as Comptroller for Commander, Submarine Force, Pacific before assuming du- ties as the Supply Officer, Commander. US SEVENTH FLEET. Commander Rorex ' s decorations include the Bronze Star, two Meritorious Service Medals, two Navy Commendation Medals with Combat Distinguishing Device, the Navy Achievement Medal, as well as other unit awards and cam- paign ribbons CDR. Command Master Chief PNCM (SW) P. Fa ' aita aster Chief Personnelman (Surface Warfare) Poaso Fo ' oita. a native of Leone. Tutuila, American Sannoa, enlisted in the US Navy in Decennber 1964 at San Francisco, California. He completed basic training at RTC Son Diego. California in April 1965. His first assignment was with Attack Squadron 165 aboard USS COR- AL SEA (CVA 43). He deployed aboard USS INTREPID (CVS 1 1) in April 1966. he was transferred to Fleet Tactical Support Squadron 21 at Naval Station Barber ' s Point. Hawaii. His next assignments included USS LITCHFIELD COUNTY (LST 901). USS SNOHOMISH COUNTY (LST 1126) and USS PAGE COUNTY (LST 1076) at Guam. Mariana Islqnd. After decommissioning of these units, he was transferred to Naval Station Midway Island in January 197 1 . He was assigned as Recruiter, and later as Chief Classifier at Navy Recruiting District, Portland, Oregon, in January 1971. In April 1974, he was selected for a special recruiting team to American Samoa. In January 1977, he returned to the GATOR Navy aboard USS TARAWA (LHA 1) at San Diego as Personnel Officer His next assignment was Navy Recruiting District. San Diego, California as Chief Classifier in April 1980. He was trans- ferred to the Staff of Commander, Navy Recruiting Area 8, at Naval Station Treasure Island as Chief Administrator and Enlisted Processing Quality Control Coordinator in March 1982. In November 1983. he was transferred to Personnel Support Detachment Alameda. Cali- fornia as Assistant Officer in Charge and Command Master Chief He reported to USS MARS (AFS 1) as Command Master Chief in Novem- ber 1985 His decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal. Navy Achievement Medal (3 Awards) with Distinguished Combat Device. Combat Action Ribbon. Navy E Ribbon. Presidential Unit Citation. Navy Unit Commendation. Meritorious Unit Commenda- tion, Good Conduct Medal (5 Awards). Navy Expeditionary Medal. Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. Notional Defense Service Med- al, Vietnam Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Sea Ser- vice Deployment Ribbon (5 Awards), Overseas Service Ribbon (2 Awards), Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Navy Expert Pistol Shot Medal. He is qualified and authorized to wear the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist breast insignia. The Master Chief is a graduate of the US Navy Senior Enlisted Academy He is married to the former Miss Stella Ann Leoto Burr of Oak Harbor, Washington Master Chief and Mrs Fa ' aita have 5 children.
