Davidson, born in Wilmington, Delaware, served first in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1957 as a track vehicle repair technician, rising to the rank of Sergeant before his discharge. -lil J 'lk j ' 532 Master Chief Davidson joined the Navy in October of 1965, and following completion of two-and-a-half years of electronic schools, he reported to the USS ENTERPRISE. Since then Master Chief Davidson has seen duty at Service School Com- mand, San Diego, Service School Command, Great Lakes, ET B School, Treasure Island, MOTU-9, Treasure Island, and Naval Command Unit, Washington, D. C. Master Chief Davidson 'S other assignment have included a second tour aboard the ENTERPRISE, as well as the USS CACAPON and USS WA- BASI-L before joining the MARS in December of 1983. Among various theatre and occupational medals, Master Chief Davidson is authorized to wear the NUC, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the Navy Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Expedition- ary Medal. Master Chief Davidson is married to the former Miss Kris O. Patricio, of Cavite, Philippines. They have three children: Melissa Ann, Shaun Patrick, and Michael Andrew. I LT Drury H Christian Ships Chaplain, Lieutenant Drury H. Christian IIL was born in Lynchburg, Virginia, on January 13, 1950. He earned an AS. degree from Central Virginia Community College, and later graduated from Lynchburg College with a VA. degree after ma- joring in religion, history, and psychology. Commissioned Sep- tember 14, 1983, he reported on board the MARS in December of 1983 shortly after completing studies at the Navyis Chaplain School in Newport, Rhode Island. Chaplain Christian also studied at the Southeastern Baptist The- ological Seminary, Where he received a Master of Divinity and Master of Religious Education, and at Eastern Shore Community College. Later he served as CPE intern Chaplain at Lynchburg General Hospital. A member of the Military Chaplains Association, Chaplain Christian is a former pastor of the Parlrsley Baptist Church, Parksley, Virginia, a former member of the Northampton-Acco- maclr Memorial Hospital Chaplains Association, and former Chaplain of the Parksley Volunteer Fire Department.
