ABATSIS CHIP” Lethargic, carefree, argumen- tive, usually on the losing side, can always be heard above the others in Physics class, usually seen wearing a tie, likes swim¬ ming and water skiing at Fort Meadow. MARY ANN ABATSIS MARY ANN” M.H.S.’s attractive high-step¬ ping head majorette, tall so¬ phisticated, not as shy as she appears, especially attracted to Room 17. Mary Ann’s beauty and intelligence insure success in whatever field she may choose. SUSAN M. ACHORN SUE” Cute, likeable, ambitious, very fond of week-end trips and long distance phone calls, main interest is affiliated with the Army, Queen of Boys Club Ball, plans a career in elemen¬ tary teaching. JOSEPH B. ANDRADE ANDY” Popular, friendly, good look¬ ing, and a wonderful dancer, keen sense of humor, respected by all, has better manners than a butler, likes to have a good time, one of Marlboro High’s finest drummers. 9 JEAN R. ANTINARELLA JEAN” A quiet person until you get to know her, good listener, keeps room 21 on its toes, not much for sports, friendly to everyone, good natured, very soft spoken, dependable work¬ er. DIANE H. ANTONIZAK DIANE” Pretty, good natured, always in and out of trouble, life of room 21 expresses an honest opinion with a smile, likes to talk, sincere and honest with her friends, has an eye for blue. BARBARA A. BALCHUS BARB” ' Attractive brunette very relia¬ ble office worker and messen¬ ger girl, never without nylons, usually seen in her little Dol- phine or at the A P in Hudson. Barbara plans a ca¬ reer as a medical secretary. DAVID ERNEST BALL DAVE” Chip’s side kick, good natured and high spirited, frequents the Marlboro Hospital, Dave is usually on crutches, in splints, or casts, seldom out of room 21 at recess, plans to follow in his father’s footsteps. GORDON RAE BARNES BUTCH” A wonderful person, enjoys lifting weights at the Boys’ Club, full of pep and energy, liked by all who come in con¬ tact with him, plans include the Air Force. MARY LOUISE BARNEY MARY LOU” Tall, good natured, likeable and friendly, quiet and de¬ pendable, personality plus, handy with a needle and thread, adds a touch of warmth to any gathering, headed for hair dressing school. JOSEPH T. BELMORE JOE” Tall blonde, nice smile, hockey enthusiast, excels in wit and skill when you least expect him to, a regular guy, well liked by all, college bound, prefers Sunoco blend. CECILY MARTHA BENOIT SALLY” Quiet, friendly, sweet person¬ ality, has a quick smile for everyone, is exceptionally tal¬ ented with either a paint brush or just pencil, is sure to succeed in anything she may do. 10 RONALD D. BLANCHETTE JAMES IRA BLAKELY JIM” Straight from the shoulder, amicable, always eager to de¬ bate, outside interests include baseball and golf likes to be near water therefore plans to join the Navy, chosen career electrician. RON” Quiet, unassuming, nice per¬ sonality jovial manner, has his mind set on the teaching pro¬ fession, likes baseball and other sports, may sign up with one of Uncle Sam’s teams. GILBERT E. BOISVERT GIL” Tall, handsome, dresses well, good natured, nicknamed O.D. by Mr. Hannagan, a real swell guy, usually can be found keeping the Marlboro Hospital grounds scenic. NANCY MARIE BONINA CLEO” Sparkling dark eyes and a radiant smile, very popular, al¬ ways seems to have a good time, sincere in her actions, has a flair for new clothes, and wears them well, a terrific dancer. ELLEN JEAN BOOTHBY ELLEN” Quiet, mature, easy going and reserved manner, very depend¬ able, excellent student, never known to leave a job unfinish¬ ed, nice to know, respected by all, sure to be a success in any field. RICHARD PAUL BOULE DICK” Personality plus, keeps any class alive, well liked by every¬ one in the school, veteran band member, always on the go, will probably enter the real estate business.” JAMES A. BOUVIER SQUEEKS” Is a cousin to Peter and is just as witty, always has a big story to tell, a great friend. and humorist, loves to go to drive- in movies, in ' the future plans to take over pharmacy when his father retires. PETER A. BOUVIER BOO BOO” One of the happiest members of the class, always has a witty joke, Peter and his pal Joey are forever keeping the English class in good humor, plans to join the Navy. 11 ERNEST F. BOWSER REBEL” Tends to be mechanically in¬ clined, designs airplanes tire¬ lessly, always talking (at the wrong time) sometimes char¬ acterized by his black leather jacket, favorite pastime is eat¬ ing. PATRICIA ANN CAMERON PAT” New-comer, cute, but quiet, has a nice smile, good worker, eager to help, always at her typewriter, good stenographer, will someday make an excellent secretary, yearbook typist. JOANNE E. BROWNING JO-- Quiet, but known to everyone, has a heerful smile and a care¬ free manner, can usually be found working behind a soda fountain, plans a career in the field of nursing, hopes to at¬ tend Framingham Union. JOYCE RUTH BRUNEAU BOBBIE” Cute, full of fun, nice person¬ ality, studies Aviation because she someday hopes to own a planet in outer space and have it furnished by Anderson’s.” DAVID MORRIS BRYANT DAVE” Smart, real nice, good dresser, best manager the hockey team ever had, always willing to do a favor, great class spirit, helped make Christmas card sale a great success. PATRICIA CAHILL PAT” Tall, always full of fun, very friendly, never too serious about any matter, fun-loving nature, co-operative, not the best guide for Boston, takes things as they come, surely an asset to the class. JOSEPH PAUL BRODEUR BUNKY” Short, level headed, intelli¬ gent, likes people, usually found arguing some point in Solid Geometry, has his eyes fixed on the Naval Academy, enjoys himself since he got rid of the crutches. JOANNE IRENE CHESNA JOANNE” A cute blond, pretty blue eyes, friendly towards all, quiet most of the time, still tackling short¬ hand, soft spoken, has a great interest in the Navy, will grace the business world with her charm. 12 LINDA LOUISE CHICOINE LINDA” Cute, has a happy-go-lucky personality, loves sports, often has the temptation to tap people on the back and come out with a cheerful Hi!”, makes a terrific friend, is inter¬ ested in the business field. NANCY C. DANSEREAU NAN” Happy-go-lucky, always laugh¬ ing, steadfast guard for the Powder Puffs, usually has Mr. Terry running around frantic¬ ally in Chem. Lab., patients are sure to recover fast with this cheerful nurse by their sides. MARJORIE ANN CLARK MARJIE” Cute, blond, gay, witty, always ready for a laugh, has a quiet manner, enjoys baby-sitting and having fun with tbe girls, will be successful in whatever she does. EDWARD R. COLLINS ED” Brillant, shy, never talks when he is not supposed to, a real nice guy, liked by everybody, dresses neatly, very punctual, sure to succeed in what ever field he chooses. DONALD E. CUSSON RED” « Easy going disposition, has a great sense of humor, can be found working hard at the Co¬ op store, sometimes shy, known for his wavy red hair. CHARLES M. D’ANGELO CHARLIE” Good looking, laughing eyes, disarming smile, dependable worker, popular with the fem¬ inine gender, very neat dresser, well liked by his class mates, sure to be a success in any field. EDWARD JAMES CLARK JIMMY” Friendly, quiet individual, en¬ joys attending class in Avia¬ tion, likes to think and dream, likes stock car races and hunt¬ ing, expects to join the Air Force after graduation. LOUIS G. DECIERO, JR. LIGHTNING” Fun loving boy, a real help to the audio-visual department, is never lost for humor, seems to have few worries, will proba¬ bly go into the service after graduation. 13 RONALD JOSEPH DIANI SLUG” Friendly, ambitious, has an envied popularity, a smile for everyone, keen sense of humor, respected by all, quiet until you get to know him, his amiable savoir faire” rates high with all, very courteous. RAYMONN J. DURAND RAY” Good natured but studious, during the last two football seasons he was the Marlboro High School team mascot — Marlboro Panther, favorite pastime — teasing the cheer¬ leaders, prominent at the Boys’ Club. DENNIS JOSEPH DOSTIE DENNY’; Quiet, well mannered, depend¬ able has a unique personality, good natured, finds that guns are fascinating and can easily be found at target practice, good competitor on the rifle range. MARY LUCILLE DRAGON MARIE” Cute, dark haired, quiet, but friendly, enjoys dancing, ser¬ ious worker, does her work well, is interested in secretarial work. DENNIS C. DRISCOLL DENNY” Friendly, cheerful, light wavy hair, lighthearted and gay, a clear thinker, always ready for fun, a good dresser, always neat and trim, an adept water skier, many secret missions have been accomplished in his Nash. JOHN ARTHUR DUCLOS DUKE” Tall, blond, good looking, sparkling personality, full of fun, likes girls, excels in sports, very popular with everyone, easy going teller of many jokes, likes to talk, will¬ ing worker, seldom is dis¬ turbed or annoyed. JAMES PAUL DIMAURO MIDGE” Friendly, well-liked, always ready with a cheerful smile, devoted heart and soul to a certain girl, enjoys a good time, very well mannered, makes friends easily. DAVID M. ESTABROOK ES ' TY” Musically inclined, drummer in the school band, can’t win an argument with him, he talks himself into a victory, quiet until you get to know him. 14 LAWRENCE ROCCO FOTI NANCY L. RICHARD PAUL GIORGI BEANS” Very active in school activities, liked by all who come in con¬ tact with him, always on the go, excels in football, pleasing personality, is very friendly, irresistible smile. LARRY” Liked by all who know him, always ready for fun, has an enviable personality, spark plug of any class, hopes to be owner of a barber shop in the future, likes to whisper in class. RICHARD A. GOODWIN DICK” Always talking — has a line a mile long, another wanderer in the Hall of Fame, jokes about lots of things, yet is very serious, also a good marks¬ man on the rifle field. SIMONNE A. GAUTHIER SIMON” Popular with her teachers and classmates, likes to talk, jovial personality, looks toward the brighter side of everything, dislikes being picked on, has a large catalogue of jokes. LANCE A. GOLGATA LANNY” Quiet, friendly, enjoys the bookkeeping class, likes to play football and basketball, hopes to join the Navy and study electronics. THOMAS M. FORREST TOM” Unceasing wit, loves to talk, always good for a laugh, never too serious, takes a lot of rib¬ bing, thinks bookkeeping is fascinating, social worker at the Civic Center”, likes to have a good time. TONY” A gentleman who definitely prefers blondes, although quiet and some what serious, Tony is never alone, spends much of his time in the Green Lantern or Allen’s, drives a Chevy in his leisure time. ANTHONY F. GROGAN VINCENT de P HARPIN VINCE” Sparkling personality, full of fun, always on the go, can usually be found on Jericho Hill, likes to skate, dependable and perservering. JEAN MARY IZZO EENIE” Pint-sized with plenty of spark, never at a loss for words, can hardly be seen behind the counter at the A P, admires artists, will make a cute addi¬ tion to the Fitchburg Campus. JAMES ROGER HOGAN HOAG” Serious, sophisticated, intelli¬ gent, quiet, and very shy, al¬ ways looking ahead, a whiz in math, very earnest in his work, well-liked by everyone, has a way with the girls. JAMES G. HONEN, JR. JIM” As quiet and unassuming as he is tall, always has a smile, laughing eyes, well mannered, well liked by his classmates, a real surprise on the gridiron, the future holds success for Jim. PAUL DAVID HINCKLEY HINK ' ” Quiet, serious, intelligent, good student, an enthusiastic worker at the First National Store, can usually be found talking in the corridors before school, plans to enter engineering school. BEVERLY ANN HOLLIS BEV” Bright, carefree, always ready to go at any time, chatty and very friendly with everyone, makes friends easily, manages to enjoy everything she does, loves to talk, good natured, fascinated by a Cadillac. WILLIAM R. HIMMELMAN BILL” Teacher’s pet, can talk himself s out of any situation, Billy’s restlessness and curiosity make a happy two-some which leads him to wandering and mischief — never a dull moment, plan-.j to join the Armed Forces. Queen of the Junior Prom, loves small parties, favorite classes: English and Biology, Has an interest in the University of Mass, but hopes to attend Becker Junior College. RICHARD F. KYPER DICK” Competent, earnest, has pleas¬ ing personality that attracts people, shy but always equip¬ ped with a ready smile, an ardent sports enthusiast, he plans to become a machinist. PENELOPE ANN LAMY PENNY” lit haired editor-in-chief of Zentennial Review”, beauti- illy groomed and a smart •esser, avid fan of Charlie rown”, willing worker, very Jpendable, will attend Junior □liege, plans to spend all )are time in Connecticut. KNYLE JOHN KING KNYLE” Quiet but very friendly, ex¬ pect to see him behind the counter at the Stop Shop, artistically skilled, always seen but seldom heard, has a ready smile for friends. BERNARD A. LAMOUREUX BERNIE” One of our Seniors who has an excuse for not doing home¬ work, a jolly fellow with many friends, well liked by many, blushes easily but has serious moments at times. GEORGE W. LAPIERRE BILL” Ambitious, easy-going, posesses a sparkling and dependable personality, industrious, always willing to pitch in, keen on water sports, and Hi-Fi, his current goal is that of machin- est. JOHN THOMAS KANE JOHNNY” Nice personality, very coopera¬ tive, always ready with a smile, gets along well with everybody, mechanically inclined, inter¬ ested in sports, helped on the candid shots for the Yearbook, may enter the teaching pro¬ fession. DONALD O. LEFEVRE DON” Capricious, flirtatious, always ready to provoke laughter, a car, girls, and bowling domin¬ ate his spare time, he is train¬ ing to become a machinist but is also interested in clothes making. MARIE DELIA LERETTE MARIE” Has a serious outlook on life, very friendly, always has a nice word for everybody, lead¬ ing sales girl in the 5 10, quiet and soft spoken, has ability to make her problems seem minute. JEAN F. GERALD DAVID LINCOLN BUMPS” Quiet, shy, modest, curly blond hair, friendly and cheerful, easy to get along with, carefree, his favorite subject is cars, owns a blue one, continually tapping his pencil on the desk, lighthearted in his school work. RONALD EARL LINCOLN ARCHIE” Strong, silent type, always comes up with a good point in the Trig, class, very good ath¬ lete, always calm and collected, should succeed with his charm and ability to deal with people. THOMAS F. LINCOLN RED” Wonderful fellow to know, jovial personality, full of fun, was vaccinated with a phono¬ graph needle, very straight forward, never leaves a job unfinished, teller of many jokes, keen sense of humor, likes girls. -- ALLYN FRANCIS LITTLE AL” Artistically inclined, pleasant, unassuming, friendly, ambi¬ tious, blushes easily, keen sense of humor, neat dresser, tactful, full of ' fun, outstanding foot¬ ball player, a friend indeed, keeps things moving in room 34. JANICE HELEN LUMSDEN JAN” Charming but reserved, sincere in her actions, dependable and patient, very studious, always seen but seldom heard, very soft spoken, a friend to every¬ one, always looking toward the brighter side of life. BARBARA JEAN LYONS BARB” Has an interest in sports and music, was a forward on the basketball team plays in the band, looking forward to a career in teaching and plans to go to Worcester State Teachers College. GERALD E. MacDONNELL MAC” One of our Seniors who always has an excuse when absent from school, can be found driving down East Main Street most any time, favorite pas¬ times are water skiing and driving automobiles. GAIL ELLEN LIZOTTE GAILIE” She rt, cute, peppy, witty, never at a loss for words., spark plug of majorettes, always has op¬ posite views, loves that clean country living. Favorite colors: pink and black, plans to enter the secretarial field. ROBERT E. MADDEN DARREL” Friendly, well liked boy, excels in sports, always on the go, quiet until you get to know him, always seen, success is sure in any field he chooses. 19 THOMAS JOHN MADDEN TOMMY” Good looking; friendliest boy in the class, considerate, flirta¬ tious, a great guy, always cheer¬ ful, likes baseball, will go out of his way to help you, hopes to attend Air Force Academy. WILLIAM JOSEPH MAURO WILLY” Pleasant, easy to get along with, true friend, quiet, sincere, ambitious, favorite pastime is working with his radio equip¬ ment, likes to skate, plans to go to barber school. 20 C. CHARLES MARGARITAS CHARLIE” Tall, handsome, has all the qualities of a good athlete, sophisticated, usually jovial and in good humor, can be seen in the corridors of the sixth period, three sport star, plans to attend University of Connecticut. WARREN M. MARSHALL PUNCHY” Argumentive, he’s always right but never wrong, he leaves Mr. McManus with a smile. Hopes to join the Armed Services after Graduation. RICHARD F. MARINO DICK” A real happy-go-lucky fellow without a care in the world, very well liked by all of his classmates because of his sense of humor, favorite drink is chocolate milk. JAMES IRWIN MARTIN JIM” Friendly, carefree, always has something funny to say, won¬ derful personality, hard work¬ er, keeps Panther Patter alive with jokes, always hunting news sixth period, sure to bring humor and fun where- ever he goes. JOHN DENNIS MANNING JACK” Very quiet but fun loving, a serious student, wonderful sense of humor, could always be seen standing outside of Room 35 before school, very easy and agreeable to get along with. GEORGE STEPHEN MAYO STEVE” New-comer, tall, good looking, friendly, good dresser, likes to joke, has many friends and is well liked, enjoys basketball in spare time, hopes to attend William Mary College and take up Business Administra¬ tion. CHRISTOPHER MINNS CHRIS” Ambitious, studious, very in¬ quisitive, spark of the 4th period P.D. class, very argu- mentive, aggressive in and out of school, makes his presence known, very helpful at the Senior Prom. ROSS ALEXANDER MOIR RAM” Big boy, curly hair, never with¬ out his Merc” outside of school, a member of the band, likes a good time, a smile for everyone, takes lot of joking from classmates. PAUL F. MONAHAN PORKY” He just had to come back after leaving his sophomore year, good natured with a sense of humor and enjoys a good time, likes reading finer novels dur¬ ing English class. MAUREEN D. MELKUNAS MOE” A friendly person, tall blond, doesn’t say too much, will make her mark in the business world, nice personality, hopes to work for I.B.M., one of the five Musketeers, loves life and people. SARAH ALICE MYSHRALL SARAH” Peppy, jovial, full of fun, pop¬ ular in any crowd. Captain of Cheerleaders, can usually be found with many friends, nice to know, plans to enter the WACS after graduation. 21 ROBERT D. PACIFIC BOB” Very intelligent, full of fun, often seen wearing a sparkling tie, the more serious reporter for Panther Patter, hopes to become a creative writer, knows what he wants to do and does it. ANNE MARIE PETERS PANDA” Pretty, popular, beautiful smile, constantly talking, al¬ ways ready to have a good time, full of fun, live wire of any class, can be found riding in a different cat every day. DAVID W. PAQUETTE POOkY” Tall, handsome, intelligent, quiet and unassuming, always smiling, shy with girls, likes to read sea stories, full of fun at any party, will go far in his chosen field.
