A DIVISION A Division has charge of operating and maintaining auxiliary machinery outside the main engine room, including boats. This com- prises of the ship ' s refrigeration plant, AC Diesel generators, steering gear, heating systems, fresh water, and flushing systems plus the repair of Galley, Laundry, Ship ' s Store mailiiiies, and deck machinery. E DIVISION E Division has the responsibility of maintaining electrical and interior communications equipment. If the ship ' s IMC system doesn ' t work, guess who gets the blame ? They have the headaches of keeping the fuses from being blown out too often from overloaded circuits and to keep the ship ' s telephone system operating.
