CIU ISI IU)()K STAFF We. of the cruise book staff, sincerely hope you enjoy this booi . It was prepared with you in mind and with every thought to makinjr it a nice souveneir of this WESTPAC cruise. Chaphiin Dobbs acted as the co-editor along with LT Sweet, who was gracious enough to vohniteer his services and spend many long hours working on the book. Special mention should be given to LCDR Webb for his contribution of organizing, collect- ing material, doing the layout work and writing the captions for the section on Subic Bay. The work of his imaginative mind is evident in the completed product. ENS Rhoads graciously took a short time challenge of doing the work on the section on Japan. He worked tirelessly and got it ready in time for the dead-line date of our book. Our photographers Mate, H. V. Iglesias PH.3, with his assistant, L. C. Lister, FN, carried a very heavy portion of the load and sweat of taking pictures, developing film, printing pictures and. in general, catering to the whims of the editors. Needless to say, many hours were used, film exposed, and skill of workmanship was involved in this effort. A. L. Flournoy SN acted as a handy man throughout the compiling of the book. He pre- pared the Ship ' s roster, did some typing, helpetl out the photographers, and. in many ways, acted as a general handy man. Thanks should be given, also, to all who contributed pictures to be u.sed. Without these there could be no book. This was a cooperative effort, .so to you belongs our WESTPAC CRUISE BOOK 1964-6.5.
