The 1981 Homecoming week began on Monday
with Concert T-Shirt Day and ended Friday with a
pep rally. During the week, there were activities
such as the Mr. Aztec contest that included Larry
Zabala, Tony Magana, Ernie Salgado, John Hidaka,
and Gabriel Martinez, as the five finalists. Ernie
was voted Mr. Aztec of 1981 by the student body
and he said proudly, "I think winning Mr. Aztec will
glorify God." Wednesday was Slave Day, spon-
sored by Girls League, in which Ruben Flores got
the highest bid of fIS51.00. The annual Homecom-
ing Festival and Powder Puff football game all took
place on Thursday, where the Juniors beat the
Seniors.
