Homecoming What does one have to do to become Homecoming Queen? All girls entering the contest are screened by student council representatives and football players. Six are appointed candidates for the position of Homecoming Queen. Then the hard work begins. All six candidates are introduced to the student body, one grade at a time, then voted upon. To win, the candidate must win a plurality of the votes of the students. Sue Acker (pictured opposite page), a senior at Chamblee High School, accomplished the task this year and became the 1970-71 Marist Homecoming Queen. 1 4 M l,u activities 17
