MEMORIAM MARY K. RUDD Mary Kathryn Croft Rudd, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Charles Croft, was born into a Wesleyan Methodist parsonage in Eskridge, Kansas, on April 6, 1912. For the past several years she had been Assistant Professor of Elemen¬ tary Education. She brought to her class-room an excellent background of train¬ ing and experience, and not only taught successfully but took a vital interest in the spiritual welfare of her students. She has left on the campus the memory of a godly, consecrated life expended in behalf of others. During her service on the Marion College Faculty, she was married to George Rudd of Laconia, New York. Mary Rudd was known throughout evangelical circles as the composer of both words and music of six gospel songs published by Homer Rodeheaver and entitled, Songs by Mary K. Croft.” On the morning of November 20, 1951, Mrs. Rudd passed away. She had lived a full, influential, and devout Christian life not to be forgotten by Mar¬ ion College. Page twelve
