Nine of the twenty scheduled games played during the season became victories for Marion High School. During the season this second squad served as a trainf ing camp for the varsity under Coach Thomas, Six of the ten men who were qualified in the regional and who were later named Nl men had seen service on the B team during some part of the season. Due to this system. Coach Pribble lost his entire lineup about the middle of the season when they were advanced to the front ranks of the Thomas- men, His reserves however filled their places and played a quality of basketball that few second teams on their schedule could equal, At the Frankfort second team invitational tournament, Marion was de- feated by Frankfort. the eventual winner of the tourney. in her nrst game, Ji 3 .nf V,-E, t.
