Drama This year's Drama Club consisted of Mari- na's most aspiring young actors and ac- tresses. Although most members are involved with the Thespians, anyone is welcome to join. You will probably see these talented kids in plays and musicals all throughout the school year. To support their future theatrical productions, these students sold candy to raise money. But besides raising money, all of the kids became great friends just being to- gether sharing the thrill of the theater. - if , P Front Row: Tammy Bradshaw, Valerie Coulton, Jason Stein, Adviser Steve Shwartz, Marina Fabic. Site Council . Marina's School Site Council is, as al- ways, busy working to improve our school. This committee is composed of teachers, administrators, parents, and students who represent each grade level. This energetic group meets the first Tuesday of every month in the Career Center. During this time, the members ofthe Council will dis- cuss the educational and extra-curricular aspects of Marina. Site Council hopes to improve such areas, and, thus, accomplish its goal to make Marina the best school in the District. At these meetings, the Council will listen to all sides of an issue concerning our school's environment. The parents', teach- ers', administrators', and the students' opinions are considered. This way, all of the vital elements that make a high school number one, are able to have a major influ- ence in Marina's decision-making process. ln order to have been chosen to represent -f one's class, each student had to have an interview and complete an application. Two students from each grade, in addition to two alternates, achieved this honor. Parents, teachers, and students discuss the issues at Marina's Site Council meeting.
