A variety of courses are offered by the Home Economics Department to meet the needs of students who wish to improve either themselves or their quality of life. Singles living and economics courses pro- vide necessary information to survive in the world that becomes so real after gradu- ation. Such courses as ,foods and clothing give practical experience which can make that world more pleasant place. ln the spe- cific areas of job preparation, students in fashion merchandising learn the workings of stores, while students in modeling courses learn how to present themselves as winners in the tough competitive job market.
