The multi talented members of Marina's Dance Team participated in eleven con- certs this year. In addition to displaying their dancing abilities, the students were required to choreograph the dance works that were shown at the various concerts. To most of these students, dance is a favorite pastime. To some it is a way of life. Several of Marina's dancers are begin- ning rewarding professional careers. From a Broadway production to Star Search , from the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympics to community theater, these students are thrilling audiences na- tionwide. The Marina Dance Team, in keeping with its goal of blending the academic with the athletc, offers dance scholarships for junior and senior students to further their dance education.
