Xxnn Swings Into Action 170 Field Field Hockey This year, Marina's Field Hockey Team was made up of a fascinating blend of girls. With fifteen new players on the team, the Vikings contained an exciting mixture of youth, experience, speed, and agility, but it took the experience and outstanding coaching of Shelly Holman to bring this talented group together. Outstanding ef- forts were put forth this year by senior Chris Gray, senior Tara Robbins, and new- comer Andrea Willer. These and many oth- er fine performances were exhibited throughout the season. All of the girls fine tuned their skills during hours of practice. The young team displayed its talents in a game against the M.H.S. Field Hockey alumni. The girls battled to a hard fought O- O tie. And so went the season for the Vi- kings. Many closely contested struggles with a tough league.
