A Step Above The Rest Girls Gymnastics The Varsity Girls Gymnastics team was very strong this year because of its talent- ed members. They expect to battle their close opponent, Fountain Valley, for sec- ond place in the League. Coach Dave But- ler kept the team spirit and confidence high among the members of the team and made sure that they performed with the highest of their abilities. Some of the out- standing performers in the Varsity team were Jennifer Daza, Kim Gleason, Shawn Lamb, Sarah Pirch, and Kristen Burnstein. Coach Dave Butler also led the Junior Varsity team through the season. Their main goal is to place several girls in the league finals. The team's outstanding per- formers, Randi Zamora, Lisa Sullivan, and Michelle Barton, along with all of the junior varsity team members, plan to make next year's team the best that it can be.
