This year's Varsity tennis team, under the dual instruction of Coach Duesler and Coach Ezerins had a great abundance of talent and skill. This team played to its capacity and did very well because of it. Outstanding players who showed their tre- mendous potential and consistency wereg Pat Husted, Wayne Kozuki, Goorge Gar- rett, and Larry Casas. Pat Husted as the team's leading singles player, being unde- feated in pre-season. Larry Casas was also a tremendous singles player, while Wayne Kozuki and George Garrett were the team's leading doubles team. Both coaches had great hope for this winning team, and looked very favorably towards going to CIF. Congratulations Vikes! This year's Junior Varsity team was coached by Mr. Ezerins. With many excel- lent players, Coach Ezerins headed a very successful team. Outstanding players wereg Adam Sosnowski, Eli Benshoshan, Steve Alberts, and Keith Lupton. Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams consid- ered Edison and La Quinta to be their reatest competitors. Overall, these teams id a great job. Pat Husted smashes the ball.
