- The sophomore team went undefeated in league play and dominated every con- test. Pacing the Vikes were All-League se- lections Wade Womack, Andy McFetridge, Grady Howes, and Player of the Year Mike Brown. John Stein capably tended their goal. The Freshman team completed the unprecedented sweep for the Aqua Vikes by squeaking by Huntington Beach, Foun- tain Valley, and Westminster by a com- bined five goals, but nevertheless finished undefeated at 4-O. Marcus Nelson captured Player of the Year honors and was support- ed by the cast of Eric Schultz, Ken Collins, and goalie Rob Foland. Great job, Aqua Vikes! A Frosh-Soph member looks for a pass.
