........f This year, incoming freshmen put out great effort throughout the entire season. They displayed great prospect with out- standing talent and absolutely brilliant coaching. The mastermind behind all of those brilliant plays was Head Coach Paul Renfrow. He was assisted by the capable coaching of Assistant Coach Rich Flores, Assistant Coach Brian Beall, and Assistant Coach Steve McJilton. The Freshman foot- ball team displayed its awesome talent when it was confronted with such formida- ble foes as Edison, Esperanza, Servite, Foothill, Fountain Valley, La Quinta, West- minster, and Millikan. The Freshman team put together a sea- son that everyone can be proud of and they helped mold this year into another exciting season. hi mn The team celebrates another big victory P ,lik ' Frosh football: M. The Girls' Cross Country team was young this year, and with the larger amount of girls that it had, it was also strong. With the exception of outstanding runners Lisa Godfrey and Kristen Laakso, who are both juniors, the team was almost entirely made up of sophomores and fresh- men. This promises that the team will be better and stronger in the upcoming years. Coach Mike Butler led the team through the season and made them strong against their tough competition. Every team mem- ber gave their personal best to place the team in higher standings. With all of their practice and experience, the team looks forward to a great season next year. ,Z MS W at W T M may, P6 la ,K 4 Z f 4? , V L, lk 452, nmaf.
