:If , NATIONAL FORENSIC LEAGUE The only requisite to join National Forsensic League is the desire to have fun in this dynamic, active club. Mr Martin Waters, NFL coach and advisor, works hard to put speech on the scoreboard. We have many excellent speakers, and many promising ones. There is no reason reason why Speech Club cannot become the focal point for speech talent and all students who are really willing to become involved in a worthwhile program. NFL has sponsored many activities during the 1971-72 school year. The club has held a Guess the Weight of the Great Pumpkin contest, where the object was to guess the weight of a 50 pound-5 ounce pumpkin. Speech has also sponsored a Bagel sale, a Christmas program, and has traveled many miles to represent Marina at important speaking contests. NFL President was Michael Lloyd- Daviesg Vice -president Pat Evans, Secretary, Debbie Wiley, Secretary-in- charge-of NFL stuff, Cindy Smith, Treasurer, Beverly Wilson.
