Fantasy, Charm, and Chivalr Were Camelot Before enchanted audiences, the legend of Camelot was unfolded in lVlarch of this year. Wearing several of the original costumes from the film version, the cast related the tale of might for right, and justice for all. Dave Gifford lAl and Judy Ellis CBJ surpassed all expectations in their roles of King Arthur and Guinevere. Supporting them were Drew Chorpenning as lVlerIin, Scott Elliot as Lancelot, Tom Brown as Pel- linore, Polly Wigton as Morgan La Fey, and Craig Conrath, who broke his foot during dress relearsal, as Nlordred, all gave brilliant perfor- mances. Set construction lCl and scenery lDl was exquisitely done with the use of backdrops and rented screens. Innovated this year, the 32-piece orchestra, directed by lVlr. John Gibbs, provided accompani- ment and sound effects. lVlr. Sonny Mackey lEl, Hollywood costumer, supervised the creation of the costumes. Stage director was lVlr. Scott Bowen.
