Q., . ,, 1 . v I .Qi .ly .: c .X i MY? .,. rv , . Senior Class History This is station MHS concluding a three-year program of events terminated by the awarding of diplomas to 162 of our number. The program began in September of the year 1929 and has continued until June of 1932. The Star performer throughout was Challen Nicholas who has been our leader for all three years. To start our activities we were honored by a reception given by the Seniors of '29. With this as an inspiration we started our Junior year by returning a reception for the Seniors of '31, The show and dance sponsored that year in- sured our success as boosters of school undertakings. During our Senior year, besides the regular routine of Senior activities we gave a Tea Dance in honor of the guests at the Parkersburg-Marietta football game. The Panic Dance, the Class Play, and the boat-ride on the Steamer Washington will always stand out in our minds as big events. During all this time the members of our class have been faithful to talents other than social. In June 1931 seven of our number were chosen to membership in the National Honor Society, and in April 1932 fourteen more of our number were selected. For these three years membe1's of the class of '32 have been outstanding in football, basketball, track, debate, and dramatics. We hope that we have kept up the standard of M. H. S. To the classes that follow us we hope may come the great- est success and honors which may be achieved. We are now signing off and it is exactly June 8, 1932.
