eneficial The administration is constantly thinking and striving for our benefit. They are always seeking plans that can be of use to each student in some way, either now or later in life. Always on hand with advice is Mr. Bailey, our guidance counselor. He is always willing to help us students when we are trying to decide on colleges. To Mrs. Swain is extended our sincere gratitude for the help she has given to each of us, and for all of the patience she has had with us. Her advice and interest have affected many stu- dents in determining their future lives. She has really placed our school on the top rate list. Dr. J. Loy Carpenter chairman of the Board of Education. He is a strong supporter lor our school. constantly working with us. Dr. M. M. Hagood lans Ar Great plans were made and carried out by mem- bers of the Board of Education this year. They came through with some real surprises for us. The surprise of the year came to all when the Board told their plans for erecting a new Fine Arts building--something our campus has needed for a long time. They have taken a great interest in our school this year, and particularly in the condition of the buildings and the campus. They added many improve- ments to the campus by setting out flowers and shrubbery. One of the things that added both to the beauty and safety of our buildings was the new system of lights for the football field and the campus.
