F. activities included the awarding of pins and membership cards in an as- sembly each semester, followed by the initiation of new members in the candle- light ceremony. Felt emblem awards were made for the first time. 'Fhe group at- tended the District X Fall and Spring conferences. C. S. F. members must have an A-minus average and a total of ten points on semes- ter grades and activities. STUDENT COUNCIL Under the leadership of Norman 24- Hulse, the student council organized a student store, planned the calendar, sponsored the Barn Dance and sever- al after-game dances, took charge of the student bulletin board, held all- student meetings, attended District K.C. meetings at Arvin, Bakersfield, Delano, East Bakersfield and attend- ed the state meeting in Bakersfield.
