STUDENT COUNCIL Under the leadership of Norman 24- Hulse, the student council organized a student store, planned the calendar, sponsored the Barn Dance and sever- al after-game dances, took charge of the student bulletin board, held all- student meetings, attended District K.C. meetings at Arvin, Bakersfield, Delano, East Bakersfield and attend- ed the state meeting in Bakersfield. of '54 The freshmen attended a reception given in their honor by the sophomores. They enjoyed a picnic dinner followed by danc- ing and other entertainment. The fresh- men later gave a return party for the Freshmen sophomores. The freshmen sponsored a National Assembly, The Mynah Talking Birds.
