GULF team invades fairways By establishing confidence in each golfer's ability, Coach Wink Gallagher built a winning team from individual talent. The golf team s victorious slate in 1972 was a tribute to Mr. Gallagher's method and personal effort on the part of each team member. In this sport the Fillies literally ran to win as they prepared to meet tough competitors in the Schuylkill County Meet held annually in Pottsville.
